DESCRIPTION: Pure Butryate is a calcium-magnesium butyrate providing highly absorbable version of butyrate (as opposed to the poorly absorbed sodium butyrate). Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) produced by large intestine bacteria as a result of fermenting the resistant starches of dietary fibre. Pure Butyrate nourishes the gut lining, improving its integrity, and promotes the activity of beneficial gut bacteria. Has been shown to inhibit pro-inflammatory immune cells while activating anti-inflammatory cells.
OTHER INGREDIENTS: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
COMPOSITION: Calcium Magnesium Butyrate – 600mg.
INDICATIONS: Butyrate is used to support leaky gut, intestinal barrier, mucosal immunity and inflammation; providing essential gut-repair support.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Not tested for suitability for pregnant or lactating women. Use with caution and under medical supervision, if taking blood pressure drugs. Keep out of reach of children.
NOTE: This is a fermented product and it has a strong smell, but a mild taste! Handle with a spoon.
